Recordemos y consulte por Internet los tipos de textos: predictivo,argumentativo, narrativo,explicativo, instructivo, descriptivo, después identifica los textos escritos en inglés del material de apoyo y establece con claridad patrones para la interpretación y comprensión, para luego llevar este conocimiento a la redacción de los mismos.

The secretary or office worker is the person who represents the company or institution on the phone or in person when a customer or visitor makes the flrst contact.

This contact is of enormous importance, since it must project the image of the company: politeness, efficiency,reliability and willingness to help regular clients and attract new ones. This contact may contribute to building up the company´s prestige, so it has to be successful.

The person receiving a foreign visitor or a message must be able to understand and to make himself or herself understood. How can the secretary or office worker prepare to achieve such a goal ? By developing certain abilities or skill which will enable him or her to understand and produce the English language that is most frequently used in these situations. That´s what we intend to do in the next five lessons. Shall we start?
